WATERS WORE IT PINK

At our home Combined Counties League Premier North match against Berks County FC on Saturday 30th November, Virginia Water FC took part in a fund raising initiative for Breast Cancer Now, in their Wear It Pink campaign.

Waters were granted permission by the FA and the Combined Counties League to wear unique, one-off jerseys which were then available to purchase after the game - with all proceeds being donated to Breast Cancer Now.  The club had set a fund raising target of £1000, through shirt sales and donations on the day.

The club would like to extend a huge gratitude of thanks to everyone who supported the fundraising campaign; Thank you to all those who bought our special Wear It Pink shirts and made other donations, including Ash Hitchinson’s girlfriend for the fantastic pink cup cakes!
