KEY INDIVIDUALS
RUNNING OF VIRGINIA WATER
CHAIRMAN - DAVE MCBRIDE
In 2015 he was approached to join the ranks at VWFC, and helped build a new structure as Chairman and close friend Graham Poulter (now so sadly missed) as Secretary
​
Since then he has worked tirelessly to grow the club, with improvements to how it is run and expanding to an unprecedented number of Youth Teams.
​
The next step is to move towards the approval of a new ground for the club
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER - CERI JONES
Ceri was appointed the First Team Manager in the 2015/16, and brought in Dave as Chairman, and Graham as Secretary (and lately Russell Croome), and as of the 2022/23 season, in addition to his role as Treasurer, he moved to the role of Director of Football, before becoming CEO, as the Club continued to expand, and steadily move towards the approval of a new ground in the locality
During his 7 years as Manager, he had overseen the rapid rise of the team from Step 7 to Step 5 and switching from Hellenic to Combined Counties Leagues. The highlights being back-to-back league titles and promotions in 2016-17 and 2017-18, and the League Cup in 2017
WELFARE OFFICER - LARS EDWARDS
Lars joined the club at the beginning of the 2021/22 season as an U7s manager, since then he has taken on the responsibility of Welfare Officer in addition to the coaching
​
His role is to make sure all commitments to safeguarding are met and exceeded, were possible, as part of the FA's safeguarding initiative.
YOUTH SECRETARY - BEN LEACH
Ben joined the club at the beginning of the 2020/21 season as an U7s manager and has since built a successful team that is competing at the top of the Surrey Primary League.

With the unprecedented expansion of the Youth section at Virginia Water, Ben has taken on the role of co-ordinating the managers of each team and supporting all of the clubs future ambition of growing the youth section further.
