Youth Teams Week 3 Roundup

The majority of Virginia Water FC's youth and junior teams were all involved in action over the weekend.

The U16's were away to Farncombe, looking to extend their unbeaten run to three games. They were able to maintain that run with a 3-2 win. The only downside to the game was an injury to a Farncombe player late in the game that required the emergency services, but fortunately Farncombe have confirmed that the player is all ok.

The U16 Reds were looking to bounce back from their defeat last week, but were held 1-1 at home to Hersham.

Water's U14 Reds did not have a fixture, and will be looking to grab a first win next weekend, whilst the U14 Youth's were disappointingly beaten again for the second week in a row, going down 3-1 away to division leaders Milford Pumas.

The U12's team carried on with their good form in a local derby away to Hythe Hornets, winning 3-2, and the under 10's were also given a weekend off, due to their being an odd number of teams in their group!

All teams bar the U16 Youth are in action again this coming weekend.
